The “Change”

Having spent most of my time is my home country, shifting base to a new place was the toughest decision of my life. Having a fun filled, friends surrounded, family life, you come into a to a place, which is way different from what you have lived or believed.

A lot of us have experienced and even shared how this change process makes a mark… It is easy for some and takes a toll on some.

For me, the major change has come in customs and beliefs. But it is amazing to see how intertwined customs and beliefs can be (though some might disagree). Religion though plays a very important role in balancing the equation, but sometimes it often misleads as well. Believing in something is good, but being forced to follow is another tale.

I miss the city-lights, my fairy tale drinking parties, the car races, the dances, the music, the ambiance and to end it… a long drive which would end up in the next moon rise.

We all feel the need to fit in and do try our best to do so as well but miss the space we share our best in and with… You miss being YOU with you…
